Our Community

The Grahamtown Community in the town of Forest City, North Carolina is the central population serviced by WOVE 104.1 FM and The Community Empowerment Project. There are over 100 homes and citizens of all ages within Grahamtown, plus a total population of about 7,800 in Forest City. We are committed to offering services such as spotlighting community heroes, county wide programs/services, local talent, financial information  and  other news you can use to citizens of Rutherford County.    WOVE will offer hands on radio training as well as volunteer opportunities to youth and adults alike.

The FCC granted a coverage area of approximately 6 miles for the radio broadcasting of WOVE 104.1 FM.  The ability to reach people in surrounding areas of Forest City is also within our broadcasting signal.
